Inverness Castle

Inverness Castle located north of Loch Ness is not a very old castle as compared to other castles in Scotland. The red sand stone Castle was built in 1836 on the site of an 11th century defensive structure. In Scottish, Inverness means "Mouth of the River Ness". (Wikipedia)
