The Cloisters of Bute Hall

"The Cloisters" (actually an "undercroft") is one of the most photographed parts of the University of Glasgow. Above these cloisters is the grand Bute Hall, used for examinations and graduation ceremonies of the University. Many renowned and distinguished persons including Nobel laureates, artists, scientists, philosophers, musicians, poets, writers and statesmen have walked through these hallowed cloisters.
