Opening to the Sky - Diocletian's Palace Vestibule

The entry vestibule of the Diocletian's Palace was once covered by a dome with the ceiling decorated with frescoes, however today it lies in ruins and open to the sky. The Palace was built by the Roman emperor Diocletian at the turn of the fourth century AD and is one of the most complete remains of a Roman palace. It is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site.
