A Torii (traditional Japanese gate) just before reaching the top of Mt. Fuji. Torii are most commonly found at the entrance of or within a Shinto shrine and symbolically mark the transition from the profane to the sacred. There is a Shrine atop Mt. Fuji along with several shops and even a post office.
