Puerto Chiapas is an important port on the Pacific Coast in Tapachula; a town almost at south-west extreme of Mexico. This large thatched-roof pyramid shaped building reflects the Mayan heritage of the area and is used as a cultutural centre, restaurent and souvineer/gift shops etc.
