This blue mosque in St. Petersburg modelled after the Gur-e Amir, the tomb of Tamerlane in Samarkand, is the largest and the most beautiful mosque in Russia. When built in 1913, it was the largest mosque in Europe.
My processing of GSV this beautiful mosque doesn't do full justice to the grandeur of this mosque. Its full beauty can be relished in some of the Flickr images I have used in my blog - Travelogue of An Armchair Traveller
Another view of the Mosque with different processing can be seen in this post.
