These pair of rocks along the Nanaura Beach in Aikawa area, Japan, is named "Meoto" (meaning husband and wife). These are not to be confused with the famous wedded rocks (Meoto Iwa) in the sea off Futami, Mie, Japan (Wikipedia)

Boat and the Cliff
As seen at the Carvalho beach near the town of Carvoeiro, Portugal. It is a small secluded beach surrounded by cliffs and is accessed either by some steep steps which have been cut out of the rocks or through a tunnel cut in the cliff. (Source Link)
Pedra da Gávea
Pedra da Gávea, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is reportedly World's largest monolith on a sea coast. It has an archaeological mystery associated with it. An inscription on the rock purportedly written in Phoenician, roughly translates as "Here Badezir, King of Tyre, Jetbaal's oldest son". Based on this inscription many feel that it is tomb of the Badzir, a Phoenician ruler of 850 BC. From a certain angle the rock has an appearance of human face (http://goo.gl/8Ax97) and it is alleged to be carved face of Badzir. The authenticity of the inscription which was discovered in early 19th century is doubted by most of the experts and it is thought to be an archaeological hoax. (More info: Wikipedia)

Sedona Rocks
Way back in Summer of 2000, I had driven past Sedona, on way to Grand Canyon. I was awed by Sedona's red rocks but unfortunately in a hurry to reach Grand canyon I didn't stop there. Current tour of Artistic Google has given me a golden opportunity to explore at leisure the remarkable rocky landscape of Sedona.
Here is a view taken from the roundabout at the intersection of Chapel Road with Hwy 179.
Castleton Tower
The 120 m (400 ft.) tall tower standing on a volcanic cone of 300 m (1000 ft.) is one of the most photographed object in Utah. The left rock formation is commonly known as The Rectory or The Priest and Nuns Rock.
Garden of the Gods
Garden of the Gods, a public park located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA is a very popular tourist spot. Covering an area of 3,300 acres and several miles of trekking trail it contains many unusual and steep rock formations.
The formation of three rocks on the left is known as the "Three Graces."
Tunnel Rock
An amazingly balanced rock with a regular passage through it. The rock is located near the entrance to Sequoia National Park.
