Postcard From The Past

This 95 years old boat lift (Ascenseur Hydraulique) is the third in the series of four hydraulic boat lifts on the old Canal du Centre near the town of La Louvière, Wallonia, Belgium. These are now on UNESCO World Heritage list and are now not operated for commercial purposes. (Wikipedia)

GSV Car With Trailer

Serendipity brought me to this GSV car with a caravan. The caravan is almost empty and my gut feeling is that it carried the Trike which took this picture in a very serene surrounding.

Cooling Tower

Being a retired Power Plant Engineer this cooling tower of Michigan City Power Plant reminded me of the hellish fire inside the furnace of the boilers.
