A Dazzle of Zebras

While roaming the streets of Bangkok, came across this collection of Zebras and few other animals. It looks like a roadside shop selling decorative garden animals. However a Panoramio image of the location mentions "Zebra fertility shrine". Thailand is full of small roadside temples and shrines so it could be a shrine but I wonder what Zebras have to do with fertility?
