Bougainvillea in Bloom

While roaming the streets of Honolulu I came across these lovely bougainvilleas in full bloom. The plant is not native to Hawaii and was introduced in Honolulu sometimes in 1830s; it has however taken deep roots on the Islands and is one of the most popular flowering plant in the region.
