Cloned from a Mural found under the a steel truss cantilever bridge spanning the Columbia River at the borders of Oregon and Washington state. The steel bridge known as "The Bridge of the Gods" derives its name from a natural stone bridge which once existed here. As per Native American legend the Great Spirit had built a bridge of stone on the River. Scientists say that the original stone bridge, which was called "The Bridge of the Gods" by the Natives, was created about 1000 years ago due to geological upheaval in the area. With passage of time the stone bridge eroded away and the steel bridge was ultimately built over the River.
